I love this little hidden location at Eagle Island in Eagle, ID. These deserted barn houses make for the perfect texture and rustic feel for a family session! Most don’t even know they exist…especially if you’re newer to the area. But I’ve shot here a handful of times and every time it delivers!

I like it for several reasons. One: being theres a ton of variety to play with as backdrops for your images. Two: it’s usually not over populated with a ton of photographers and other families getting their photos done. But I still recommend going during the week to ensure privacy. Three: there’s gorgeous light and Four: Color like the yellow worn by this darling little girl just POPS off those neutral tones! Lastly Five: there’s plenty of space for your little ones &/or pet(s) to have fun, be loud and roam free for me to capture some adorable candids! I’d say a definite contender for your next family photo shoot!
